Studio Policies, Service Information & Client Agreement

Thank you for choosing Alexandrea’s Artistry. Your safety, comfort, and satisfaction are extremely important to me. Before booking, please carefully review the following policies, contraindications, and service information.

These policies are designed to ensure a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience for every client while helping to set clear expectations for both parties. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies outlined below.

Before proceeding with any services, please review the following list of contraindications and disqualifying conditions.

GENERAL POLICIES

LIST OF CONTRAINDICATIONS & DISQUALIFYING CONDITIONS

Please note that this is not a complete list of all possible contraindications. If you have a medical condition, are currently under a physician’s care, or are unsure whether tattoos are appropriate for you, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.

Tattooing services may not be suitable for clients with any of the following conditions:

• Individuals under 18 years of age, even with parental consent

• Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals

• Diabetes (doctor’s clearance required)

• Glaucoma

• Clients taking blood thinners (doctor’s clearance required)

• Autoimmune conditions including, but not limited to, Lupus, Celiac Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Thyroid Disorders, etc. (doctor’s clearance required)

• Active skin conditions including, but not limited to, Psoriasis, Severe Acne, Sunburn, Rosacea, Vitiligo, Staph Infections, MRSA, etc.

• Allergies to pigments, cosmetics, or tattoo-related products

• Bloodborne illnesses including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis A, B, or C, and Syphilis (doctor’s clearance required)

• Active skin cancer in the treatment area

• Blood disorders including Sickle Cell Disease or Hemophilia

• Healing disorders, uncontrolled blood pressure, or mitral valve disorders

• Current use of Accutane, steroids, or medications that thin or oversensitize the skin

• Anemia

• A history of keloid scarring or abnormal scar formation

RETAINERS

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all appointments.

Retainers reserve your appointment time and cover administrative costs, scheduling, consultation time, design work, stencil preparation, and other pre-appointment services.

Retainers are applied toward the final service total when the appointment is completed as scheduled.

PAYMENTS

The remaining balance is due at the time of service.

All card transactions are subject to a 3.5% processing fee. Clients wishing to avoid this fee may pay in cash.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the retainer and require a new retainer to secure a future appointment.

Same-day cancellations and no-shows may result in a charge of up to 50% of the scheduled service price before future appointments can be booked.

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made via text message.

ARRIVAL POLICY

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. As a private, appointment-only studio, early entry cannot be accommodated unless specified otherwise by Alexandrea. If you arrive more than 10 minutes early, please wait until closer to your scheduled appointment time before entering.

Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may be considered a no-show and may be required to reschedule.

STUDIO POLICIES

• NO children, pets, or additional guests permitted.

• NO outside food or drinks permitted.

• Alexandrea’s Artistry reserves the right to refuse service at any time.

TATTOO POLICIES

DESIGN & STENCIL APPROVAL

Custom tattoos are created specifically for each client.

Your retainer covers consultation time, design work, stencil preparation, printing, resizing, and placement.

Once design work or stencil placement has begun, the retainer is considered earned and remains non-refundable, regardless of whether the tattoo is completed.

Extensive redesigns, major design changes, or excessive stencil revisions may require an additional design fee.

AI-GENERATED TATTOO POLICY

AI-generated imagery may be used personally by clients to help visualize their own ideas, but I do not use, reference, or rely on AI-generated tattoo designs within my work.

AI frequently creates tattoos with unrealistic sizing, microscopic details, spacing, and linework that simply cannot be replicated on real skin or expected to heal and age properly.

If an AI-generated image is submitted to communicate a general concept, please understand that it is not a design reference or expectation for the final tattoo. I will create and recommend designs based on what is realistically achievable on skin, including appropriate sizing, spacing, detail, placement, and longevity.

Some concepts may need to be simplified, resized, reworked, or declined entirely.

My standard will always be what can be tattooed responsibly and heal beautifully—not what AI can generate on a screen.

RETENTION & PLACEMENT DISCLAIMER

Tattoo placement is evaluated in a neutral anatomical position. Because tattoos are applied to a living, moving body, designs may appear to shift slightly as the body twists, bends, flexes, or rotates. Perfect alignment in every position is not anatomically possible.

Tattoo longevity and healed results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed.

Certain areas of the body are naturally more prone to fading, blurring, patchy healing, ink loss, and the need for future touch-ups due to factors such as friction, skin thickness, sun exposure, moisture, movement, and individual healing characteristics.

These areas may include, but are not limited to:

• Fingers

• Hands

• Palms

• Side of hands

• Feet

• Toes

• Ankles

• Elbows

• Knees

• Behind the ears

• Areas subject to frequent friction or rubbing

Fine line tattoos are intentionally delicate in nature and may heal softer, lighter, or more subtle than they appear immediately after the procedure.

Clients acknowledge that healed results are influenced by factors including skin type, age, lifestyle, medications, health conditions, sun exposure, aftercare compliance, placement, and individual anatomy.

While every effort is made to achieve the best possible outcome, Alexandrea’s Artistry cannot guarantee pigment retention, exact healed appearance, or the longevity of any tattoo.

FINE LINE TATTOO TOUCH UPS

One complimentary touch-up, if needed, is available within 6 weeks of the original tattoo appointment. The complimentary touch-up must be scheduled and completed within this 6-week period.

Touch-ups requested or scheduled after the 6-week window are considered a separate service and will be subject to current touch-up pricing.

Complimentary touch-ups do not apply to areas known for reduced pigment retention, including fingers, hands, palms, sides of hands, feet, toes, or other high-friction/high-movement areas, unless otherwise stated by Alexandrea’s Artistry.

Touch-ups needed as a result of improper aftercare, picking, scratching, excessive sun exposure, swimming, friction, or other factors outside of the artist’s control are not complimentary.

PERMANENT MAKEUP POLICIES

BROW MAPPING & APPROVAL

Your brows will be carefully mapped and customized to your facial structure before the procedure begins.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving the shape prior to the procedure.

PMU TOUCH-UPS & PERFECTING SESSIONS

Permanent Makeup is typically a multi-session process.

A Perfecting Session is recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment and is booked separately.

Touch-ups scheduled beyond the recommended timeframe may incur additional fees.

HEALED RESULTS

Results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, medications, age, aftercare, and other individual factors.

Additional sessions may be required to achieve desired results.

No specific healed result can be guaranteed.

EXISTING BROW TATTOOS

Previous work must be approved before booking.

Cover-ups and color corrections include an additional fee and often require multiple sessions.

MAKEUP POLICIES

MAKEUP APPOINTMENTS

Please arrive with a clean, moisturized face whenever possible.

Inspiration photos are welcome; however, final results may vary based on individual features, skin type, and product performance.

Many online images are professionally edited and may not accurately reflect real-life results.

BRIDAL TRIALS

Bridal trials are a separate service and are strongly recommended before the wedding day.

BRIDAL & GROUP BOOKINGS

Travel, parking, tolls, early morning start times, and lodging fees may apply to on-location services.

Additional details will be discussed during booking.

PHOTOGRAPHY & MARKETING

Photos and videos may be taken for insurance documentation, portfolio use, advertising, educational content, website use, and social media marketing.

REFUNDS

All sales are final.

Due to the time reserved, custom work performed, products used, and appointment preparation completed, NO REFUNDS will be issued for retainers, deposits, design work, missed appointments, cancelled appointments, or services rendered.
