The Eyebrow Enhancement Experience

The consultation holds significance as it allows us to assess your skin type, allergies, and medical history, even if you've already reviewed contraindications and followed pre-procedure care instructions. During this session, we'll dive into your lifestyle, makeup habits, and current eyebrow routine. We'll address your primary concerns and what you appreciate about your brows, as well as your desired style post-procedure. Get ready for your eyebrow enhancement! 

Once we understand your preferences, we'll map, draw, and measure your new brows based on your natural facial features and bone structure to ensure they harmonize with your entire face.

We will begin mapping with an inked string to locate a number of fixed points. The goal is to define and create symmetry. Any hairs outside the new brow lining will be removed using tweezing or razor removal to minimize discomfort and achieve clean, fresh-looking brows.

A topical numbing cream will be applied and left on for a full 20 minutes prior to microblading eyebrows, unless you prefer to skip this step.

Microblading eyebrows involves the use of a tool that has tiny needles at the end (not an actual blade) in the shape of a U, which allows us to make curvy hair strokes. With the new strokes, pigment is then deposited into the skin, into the Dermis of the skin.

Powder/ombré brows involves the use of a handheld machine to insert tiny dots of pigment into the skin, through the use of fine tip needles. Allowing us to create a soft powdered makeup look on the entire brow.

If you have opted for "Combination Brows", this involves the use of both above techniques with microblading at the head of the brow, and shading through out the rest.

A total of 2-3 passes will be done on each brow to ensure full pigment saturation. A pigment mask will be applied at the end to lock in the color.

REMEMBER! Starting conservatively is key; we can always intensify and enhance during the touch-up session!

Before the reveal, your newly microbladed brows will absorb pigment for approximately 8 minutes. Following this, any excess pigment will be carefully wiped away, unveiling your stunning new eyebrow enhancement!

The necessity for a touch-up depends on adherence to aftercare instructions and your skin type. Keep in mind that complete healing of your brows typically takes about four weeks. If you're unsure about needing a touch-up, kindly send us a photo of your brows four weeks after the initial procedure to (508)644-0798. We'll reassess your healing progress and advise you on the next steps. If you desire a darker or bolder look or wish to add more strokes where fading has occurred, consider booking a touch-up appointment.
