Proper aftercare is essential for the healing, longevity, and overall appearance of your tattoo. Please follow the instructions below carefully to ensure the best possible result.

Healing Phase 1: Saniderm Bandage Care

Your tattoo has been protected with a Saniderm bandage to shield it from bacteria and external elements.

• Leave the Saniderm bandage on for 24–48 hours
• Fluid buildup under the bandage is normal, as long as nothing leaks in or out
• For easier removal, peel the bandage off in the shower, allowing warm water to loosen the adhesive
• With clean hands, gently remove the bandage in the direction of hair growth

⚠️ If the bandage begins leaking, remove it immediately and proceed to standard aftercare below.

Healing Phase 2: Daily Aftercare

After removing the bandage:

1. Cleanse the tattoo 1–2 times daily using a gentle, diluted, unscented castile soap
2. Lather softly using clean hands only
3. Rinse with lukewarm water
4. Pat dry with a clean paper towel (do not rub)
5. Once fully dry, apply a very thin layer of Hustle Butter

✨ Less is more — do not over-apply ointment.

Important Healing Guidelines

During the healing process, please avoid the following:

• Scratching, picking, or peeling flaking skin
• Soaking the tattoo (no pools, oceans, hot tubs, baths, or saunas)
• Excessive sweating, heat, friction, or tight clothing
• Direct sun exposure while healing

✔️ Short showers and gentle washing should be your only water exposure during healing.

Healing Timeline

• Tattoos typically heal within 10–30 days
• Healing time varies based on the individual, tattoo placement, size, and skin type
• Fine line tattoos heal lighter and more delicate by design — this is normal and expected
